I went through two rounds of interviews for the IT Tech Manager role at David Yurman.
1. First Round – Initial video interview with an HR recruiter. It was focused on my background, leadership experience, and general technical knowledge. They also asked why I was interested in David Yurman and what kind of team culture I thrive in.
2. Second Round – Interview with the hiring manager (or department head). This was more technical and strategic. I was asked about managing IT infrastructure, experience with endpoint management tools, handling escalations, and overseeing day-to-day IT operations in a high-end retail or corporate environment. They also asked about how I approach cross-functional communication and supporting end users at different levels.
The interviews were professional, efficient, and insightful. The team clearly cared about both technical fit and alignment with the company’s brand and values. The overall experience was positive and well-organized.
