I was contacted by a recruiter after applying for this position within 2 weeks. The recruiter agreed that my experience and salary expectations were a match, and I was told that she would be scheduling interviews with the hiring manager in the next week for the role. At the end of the phone call, I was then asked to send a photo (a strange request in 2016, but I obliged immediately after the phone call), however after sending a photo, I never received ANY reply back. (sigh). When I emailed the recruiter again (she would not return my phone calls), I was told that they were finishing up the 1st round of interviews. One search into google of 'India and African Nationals' (I'm a bi-racial American) will tell you all that you need to know about the level of discrimination that goes on into this recruiter's home country. It is one thing to be discriminated against, but totally another when a person darker than you is doing the discriminating in a country where they're also an immigrant as well. Datwyler please do better.
