The process involved taking a written test and scoring at least a 70. From that test, the city took the top 3-5 candidates who placed highest and proceeded with an oral interview that the director and assistant director conducted in conjunction with HR.

The director, Ms DeJong was wonderful in guiding me through my first job interview, despite that it was for a volunteer position she put me at ease. Explained my duties and what training I would be given.
