The process was very simple. I got in and they asked me a question. End of story. then, I thought about the question, processed it, perceived it, considered it, and decided on what I would say. The words to the solution came out of my mouth before I was asked for a demonstration. I gave one. I walked out.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dalton Agency (Jacksonville, FL) in Dec 2021
Interview
In mid December, 2021 I did an initial screener interview over video which went well and was immediately invited for a second round interview with two other employees.
I did the second round which lasted about an hour and thought it went really well. I sent my follow up emails and then I was asked by one of the people I spoke with to send in some extra writing samples, which I did immediately. I was then told in writing that they would be in touch after the holidays, which I took to mean as early January.
The new year came around and I heard nothing. I sent a couple follow up emails and still heard nothing from anyone who I had spoken to. I saw on LinkedIn that the job posting was still up, so I didn't know what to think really. After looking earlier today, the job had been relisted and had a similar number of applicants (less than 15).
Essentially, I spent a good while speaking with this company and was ghosted. I understand that it can be annoying to respond to all applicants, but after two interviews and hours of my time wasted, a simple email would've been nice.
