I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Englewood, CO) in Aug 2013
Interview
After applying online, I got a call from the recruiters asking me about my resume and the recruiter expanded on the job roles. I then had a phone interview with my potential manger, lasted about 15 minutes. Here, we talked about my resume, an expanded job description, and a few questions about how I handle certain situations and I had a chance to ask any questions. Then I took a few tests. These tests focus on basic knowledge and personality. They want to make sure you're not an idoit, and that your personality will fit in with the culture at Dish. The first test has a very wide range of questions, and I can't imagine that they take the score into heavy consideration. Then, my potential manager requested a final inperson interview. Since I'm out of state, Dish flew me in and was interviewed face to face with my manager and 2 other team members. A few hours later, I got a call from the recruiter with an offer.
The whole hiring process took more than a month. I had 4 interview rounds and an assessment. Assessment focuses on maths and problem solving skills. Then there's an interview with the Hiring Manager, one more interview by other team members, a panel interview with 3 4 members and finally there's a Bar raiser interview by a leader from other team.

Interview
A little informal. Asking some technical and non technical. I don’t have the Agile experience for what I think they wanted. This would have been for direct contacts not the higher ups.

I was interviewed by two Product Managers. The interview had a positive vibe and included many reasonable questions. The interviewers were respectful and friendly. I don’t know the results yet, but I finished in a good mood.
