      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DDI Consulting (Sacramento, CA) in Nov 2018

      Interview

I was recruited online, received an email about the company and position and called in to schedule an interview. Scheduling process was quick and I came in a few days after. The process took about a week total. Standard questions, not too easy but not too difficult if prepared with your vision/goals.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Q: What can you bring to the company?
      1 Answer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at DDI Consulting (Sacramento, CA) in Feb 2016

      Interview

Went through two interviews, but did not receive an offer. The first interview was quick and with the company CEO, and couple days later I wanted invited for a second interview. Initially, I was told the second interview was going to be a 2 hour shadow process and that I had to clear my schedule. However, it turned out to be a 45 minute lunch, so I felt there was a lack of transparency about the interview process. I wouldn't have been as bothered if they had told me that in the first place. Besides that, everyone seemed really friendly and passionate about their work.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate your feedback on our interview process. We advise our candidates who are selected for a second interview to allot two hours of their day in case the interview runs longer than expected. We strive to be as transparent as possible with our candidates and like to have as much time needed to answer all of their questions without being pressed for time. Our second round interview varies from candidate to candidate given their questions about the position and our company in general. If the interview process does not use the entire allotted time, the interviewee gets that time back in their day. All in all, we are glad you enjoyed our staff and are happy to hear they were friendly. Again, thank you for your time, we really appreciate your feedback. Sincerely, Darryl Carter - Company President

      Junior Account Manager Interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at DDI Consulting (Valley Springs, CA)

      Interview

Easy interview process even though you don't know for sure what the company does. If you get call for a second interview you find out they sell tv cable plans. People seemed very nice over there and I could tell it was a good atmosphere. Just not the kind of sales I like: talking to people at Walmart and trying to sell direct tv/ AT&T Wish the job post said retail sales associate instead of junior account manager.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
      Answer question

      Question 2

How do you describe your work ethic ?

Thank you for taking the time to meet with us, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Anyone who is invited back on a interview for the Junior Account Manager is given the opportunity to observe the position details explained during the preliminary interview. If you were selected for our entry level sales role, during the first interview our management team explains the nature of our business and the responsibilities of the position, which include direct sales in big box retailers for our clients. We do apologize if there was a misunderstanding about what we do or what the role entails. The position you interviewed for is entry level and is designed to help our team members understand basic sales concepts. At DDI, Junior Account Managers learn our systems with the intention of developing them so they can take on more responsibilities and can directly manage the relationship with our clients on the way to managment. Our goal is really not to develop sales people, it is to develop business leaders with skill sets that are transferable not only in our business but to the real world as well. Sincerely, Darryl Carter President
