Applied for an IT Manager position. Melissa Dalton (Head of Global Talent) emailed me and sent me a link to some kind of service called "wedge" that apparently wants you to answer questions and record you then send the video to DBM for screening.
I told Melissa I respectfull declined this method of pre-screening and that if they wanted to chat with me and have an actual live conversation I would be happy to do that anytime. Melissa responded that she was 'too busy' and her calendar was booked out for over a month and there just wasn't any time available. She said they laid off a bunch of recruiters and just don't have the time.
Apparently DBM isn't interested in treating people with respect and Melissa seems to think her time is more valuable than a candidates. Basically, they want you to spend time recording messages so they can watch you later (creepy) and then if they don't select you I suppose just ghost you or send you some canned email if you're lucky.
If this is how they treat people that want to work for them I don't even want to know how they treat people that do actually work there. Stay away!
