Group Interview situation. A combination of corny questions that were very easy to prepare for. I have never liked group interviews, but if you are confident they can work well for you.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DAVIDsTEA (Ottawa, ON) in Nov 2016
Interview
After submitting an application online, I was emailed about a job fair which I could not attend. I emailed the head of the job fair explaining my predicament and she was very kind and gave me an alternate date to do an interview. They immediately offered me free tea when I got in (it's a good idea to know what you want before you go) and then we walked to a bench in the mall and got the interview started.
The next day I recieved an email with my offer. From there, everything went very fast and managers were very helpful.
Group interview, straightforward questions, involved us bringing in 1-2 items that best represented us. They were willing to accommodate people like myself who didn’t have previous experience with loose leaf tea.
I started off as a seasonal tea guide. I applied online, and I was contacted first over email. An initial phone interview led to an in-person interview, after which I was offered a position.
