The process took more than 4 weeks for just 2 rounds.
Besides, the interview scheduling was bad. I was told there are two interviews in 2nd round but the contents were switched. Confusing and really bad experience.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cuvva (London, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
TLDR: After more than 42 days process I would suggest to any self respecting developer please avoid investing precious time interviewing with cuvva as their interview feedback is not at all credible and they look for ABSOLUTELY any reason to reject. Please don't fall for the positive reviews on glassdoor and interview with companies who would respect your time, value you as a professional and if things don't go well then atleast provide you with a honest and helpful feedback.
Long version:
The interview process with cuvva was quite long i.e. 42 days and the process was as below in different steps and days:
1] Introductory call
2] Code challenge (they say don't invest more than a couple of hours but that's a lie and you will not even finish in couple of hours. Also, even if you do manage to finish in few hours, they will reject it because you invested less time so it may not be to their standards and so it's completely a paradox. I invested more than 2 full days completely, wrote documentation as asked and luckily it got cleared)
3] Followup interview regarding the code challenge
4] A 2 hour long tech interview split as design and coding questions
I managed to clear all of their rounds and moved to step 4 (last step) of the interview process which was 2 hours long. With all honesty I would say that the difficulty was fairly average and I did put in a very very good interview (even explained surrounding concepts to the asked questions which would show deeper understanding) as I was well experienced with the questions asked (9 years experience) and also completed the tricky coding question by sharing my screen.
After almost a week of waiting (and overall a 42 days of process) they gave a feedback which was completely untrue and least credible. They also said that "a few" answers were not to the point (the one which i not only answered but even explained deeper concepts AFTER promptly answering those first) and a tricky question took "a bit more time" (but no importance was given to the fact that IT WAS DONE successfully and i just took a bit more time NOT a lot of time and the interview WAS COMPLETED on time and not at all extended for that).
So, after 42 days of process and putting in so much time in not just a code challenge but with clearing all the rounds, after the final round the above was their reasoning to reject which I was just shocked to see.
Normally I never write reviews on galssdoor as they are too time consuming but here I felt like I should write because companies like cuvva think that just because they are the one hiring they can do whatever they want with the candidate and disrespect their time and intelligence.
True that an employer can hire anyone they want but after such a long process at least they should give a credible and honest review to the candidate and keep the sanity of interviews intact which is trust based.
To anyone reading this I, with all honest, DO NOT recommend candidates to interview for cuvva. Their interview is not only very very long but they do reject for any and I mean absolutely any reason (instead of giving credible review), offer low salaries and they really don't know what they want. Instead interview for companies who genuinely want to hire a candidate (and not just do a test run to analyse market and waste candidate's time) and who would respect candidates time.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us.
We do set quite a high bar for our candidates but we follow the same process for everyone - and we need everyone to meet the same standards. We have to be totally fair and think about how other candidates have performed in interviews.
We’re sorry that you didn’t feel the feedback was enough - this is really important to us. We can’t talk about the details of your interview here (to protect your privacy), but we’d be more than happy to give you some more info if you drop one of the team an email.
We’re also sorry that the process took so long. We really do understand how important this is. We always try to make the process as quick as possible - but on this occasion a few things got in the way - like candidate availability, evaluation and annual leave. But thats no excuse and although we are sure this was a one-off we’ll try to do better in future.
