I was recruited for a role that I don't think was publicly posted. It sounded interesting and I talked to the recruiter first - basic standard questions. He then set up a call with the hiring VP. We also had a very nice discussion... and then, the holidays came and the process dragged out. In mid-January, the recruiter reached back out to me and mentioned that they really liked me and have something else in mind for me. I then had a call scheduled with the President. She called me 15 min late and rushed through the conversation. She asked a lot of questions regarding the role I was applying for and it seemed like she was not really aware what I had applied for, or was not prepped by the recruiter. After 15 min of asking me questions, she pretty much hang up on me without me even able to ask a question. I followed up with the recruiter and received only a voice message saying that I did not have a specific experience, which was never even mentioned on the initial job description that I was sent. I followed up with an email asking for any additional feedback and mentioning the shortness of the call, but never received anything. Super disappointing and a lack of respect for my time.
