I applied in-person. I interviewed at Curri (Ventura, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
This was one of the more frustrating and disheartening interview processes I’ve been through. The process dragged on for weeks, communication was slow throughout, and despite being taken through multiple rounds and asked to provide references, I ultimately got the impression that I was being kept warm while the company pursued another candidate.
As a disabled minority candidate, parts of the experience left me seriously questioning how inclusive the company actually is in practice versus how it presents itself publicly. Whether intentional or not, I did not walk away feeling respected or genuinely valued throughout the process.
What bothered me most was the lack of transparency and consideration for the amount of time and emotional energy candidates are expected to invest. If you are going to put someone through an extensive interview process and ask for references, there should be much better communication and decisiveness.
Overall, the experience felt performative, disorganized, and disappointing from a company that speaks so heavily about people and culture.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions focused on manager coaching, handling employee relations situations, and building People processes in growing organizations.
Got an outreach by their interviewer and got called by hiring manager. The role seemed nice, the people nice to talk to. The hiring manager was nice and jovial. Easy to talk to but we didn't click. Wish best of luck to other candidates.

Interview
Was reached out to and positioned as a let me tell you about us. They asked me more about me and why I wanted to work there which was weird because I was trying to learn about them.
