Thank you for your feedback on the interview also. It is confusing your experience was negative at interview stage yet you accepted the position and gave us the impression your opinion was the opposite of what you have reviewed our business. In terms of the interview being more of a chat, this is 100% correct. As head of recruitment I do not like to put candidates under stress or pressure but rather let them be themselves and speak openly. I tend to find you get to know the individual behind the CV much better by applying this method of interviewing. Interviews should go both ways not just the employer's way. In the future I would suggest if you dont have a good opinion about the company you are interviewing for, then be honest with yourself and move on to the next interview. Do not accept the role then work 1 and a half weeks to then leave and put all the blame on the company rather than look at the decisions you made yourself. It does not come across professional in any means and I hope this is something you realise throughout your career.
