Submission of CV followed by invitation to interview which was a dual panel interview with my future boss and a senior fellow member of the team I was looking to join. This was followed by offer within a few days. Very quick and simple. This approach may now be different from when I applied.

It was fairly informal, very friendly, and felt more conversational. Interviewed by two people via Teams. Asked many competency based questions, but they were happy to let you refer to your CV, notes, etc.
