Culmen International interview questions

I came across my Culmen job application through LinkedIn and after the same day of applying I was reached out via email and phone by one of their most respected recruiters…Danna was a delight to work with. She was able to answer all my questions about the position and the company. She detailed the step by step interview process and was quick to set up an in-person interview with the Hiring manager the day after I had applied for the position. The interview went well. We discussed details of the job, very open about salary and willing to negotiate benefits, and I was hired on the spot. I signed my contract the very next day. I had zero complaints about the company or the interview process. Quick, efficient, and highly respected Recruiters/Hiring Managers. They did not try and play “stump the chump”. No trick questions. It was an open conversation wanting to get to know more about the interviewer and interviewee. Just be yourself and you will excel. I’m grateful for the employment opportunities and happy to be working for Culmen!

They reached out to me via email to schedule a 20 minute phone call but then never called me as scheduled. After a few minutes of waiting, I looked at the email and realized that the person who contacted me didn’t even have their phone number listed. That just seems very odd when your job is to actively reach out to candidates. It almost seems like they’re trying to hide behind the keyboards. I realized that I wouldn’t want to work for such a company that would hire someone so unprofessional. This person did not represent Culmen International in a good way. Interesting enough that when I sent a follow up two hours later telling them they never called, they replied back in 15 minutes saying they had “technical difficulties.” Oh sure, and you couldn’t just tell the candidate that? Own up and admit that you forgot or were slacking off while working remotely.
