I applied online, and received an email the following day asking to speak over the phone. I had a 30 minute phone interview, and was then moved along to the in-person interview. I was to meet the GM and the Owner of the Crunch location. I met with the GM but the Owner was not there, and was busy with something that had come up last minute. The interview was fairly standard for about 15 minutes until the GM asked "if I would bring some of my personal trainers to follow me over to the new opening location." I responded with, "most likely not, as that would be highly unethical, and the staff I currently see there now are already established, full-time employees." After this response, the GM asked one more question but then quickly ended the interview, and proceeded to blow me off. I basically took it as, "We will hire him if he can get his staff to follow him, and if not, then we have no interest," rather than focus on my degree, certifications, experience, and capabilities. Will never apply to the company again.
