I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Crossrail (London, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
Office based, two people interviewed for position, ninety nine per cent questions from one interviewer and only one question from the other, fairly standard interview questions that were not hard to answer
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Crossrail (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied directly with the company. Invite for an interview 4 weeks after submission of the application. Questions were competency based and easy to understand. The panel was composed by the HR recruiter and the recruiter manager. Overall it was a pleasant interview.

Question 1
How do you influence people in situations where there are conflicting agendas?
Like stepping back into the 90's. Lightweight senior manager's background very industry narrow and they wouldn't recognise transferrable value gained from other industries if it bit them. Lightweight questions and style. Kept waiting on uncomfortable seating and interview started late. Office environment was ridiculously crammed and looked really dated. No guest wifi? Really? Unprofessional.
