      Telecom Business Consultant Interview

      20 Nov 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tel Aviv-Yafo
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Nov 2018

      Interview

The online recriting process was very fast, until I reached interview stage. Then I had: interview with the CEO interview with a peer - 6 week no response interview with the CEO preparation of a strategic presentation for a telco operator interview with the CEO and a sales person - then 2 references were asked to be interviewed interview with a potential peer The whole process took from July, 5 until November, 15. I was informed, after managing it to the first interview that only two out of 360 reached that stage. So the promise that 2% of the best in the process a hired is nothing else but hot air.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You are having discussions with the Chief Marketing Officer of a Tier 3 wireless carrier based in India. The wireless carrier currently has 15 million subscribers and the Chief Marketing Officer would like to increase its subscriber base by 5 million subscribers over the next 2 years. Telecom Business Consultant Interview

      10 Jul 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Minsk
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Minsk) in Jul 2018

      Interview

It was an online hiring event where Crossover team introduced a procedure and then provided a link to proceed with the tests. There were technical questions related to the job specialty to choose the right answer from the given options. Then you had to record your audio explanation about the 3 key features which are your best skills for the desired job. After that there were 4 steps with professional questions where you had to present either your solution or comment or advice as answers. Questions were interesting but mostly too general to give really exact answers or advices. After followed a request to record a short 2.5 minutes audio where you had to speak to a Marketing director of an East-European wireless carrier to find out her considerations about marketing and subscribers growth intentions. After all there was a Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT)with 50 questions and 15 minutes to answer maximum of those. Now all results are under analysis and within a week the qualified applicants will be invited for an online interview with the HR specialist of the hiring company After this the selected candidate will be asked for a real interview to sign a contract Complicate but fare!
