Interview
Recruiter gave me a tour of the office and talked about the amenities yoga room, shower, free snacks, barista etc. The rest of the interview took place in a meeting room with a whiteboard. There I met with two engineers. They asked me algorithm and design questions. Then I met with a senior manager, whom asked me more algorithm questions, database questions, and questions related to object oriented programming . Then I met with the head of engineering who just wanted to answer any questions I had or address and any concerns I may have related to Credit Karma.

Question 1
Implement a function that checks if parens of an input are balanced, go over the design of a recent project, show me how you would design a URL shortener, come up with different ways to do a shuffle algorithm, some SQL and schema design, intermediate tables, joins, Singleton the difference between a class and an instance of a class etc.

Recruiter reached out via Email. So I scheduled a phone screen. Then got called for an on-site. I think it went well. But recruiter never got back to me even after sending many follow up emails. Seems to be a similar experience to other reviews here.
