Extensive. I had 6 interviews including an onsite one which lasted 6 hours, including 2 hours with the CEO. I felt like they were looking for a reason not to hire me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical questions, questions about cultural fit, how I manage.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Creator (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I was contacted directly by one of the recruiters at the start of the process.
Following a chat with the recruiter, the first stages of the process were a non technical phone screen followed by a technical phone screen. Both were with the engineering manager in charge of the team I was interviewing for. Both conversations were very engaging and had a great balance of challenging problems and fruitful conversations.
After going through both phone screens I was invited for an onsite, where I had to deliver a presentation on a project of my choice, as well as participate in several rounds of technical interviews and non-technical interviews. The process and the space were wonderful, and despite not being given an offer I would recommend other engineers to apply. It's not everyday that you can interview for a robotics company working in automating food services that is staffed with a very considerate and thoughtful group of people.
