I applied with my portfolio and then I had to submit a video. Later I was invited for a meeting where we discussed my work and process. They showed me how they work and it was a free conversation. Three people participated in the process.

Got in touch, showed them my portfolio, we had a chat about it, was called in for an interview, then another, then we did a test project and then I was hired.
