First interview was with an outside agency that handles their HR processes and was over the phone, mostly confirming my resume and answering any general questions. Second interview was with the Director of Marketing over Zoom. It was a great interview and she acknowledged that I was a top candidate and that she'd let me know the next steps-- which was a hands on project related to the role (I am somewhat skeptical of this kind of free labor before hire in general but I was willing at the time and didn't protest). I never even heard back which felt a bit dismissive and rude considering the one-on-one we had.
