Generally felt that this process was not time well-spent. I don't think they are really respecting candidates and their time, and they aren't effectively communicating. I got the feeling the recruiter was really disorganized and inexperienced, and she didn't sound authentic when she described why she enjoyed working for the company. After some prodding after a few weeks, she finally followed up and scheduled a live coding exercise with the hiring manager. The interaction with the hiring manager was better, but I still wasn't 100% convinced he really enjoyed his job either. Not sure I "clicked" with his personality. I felt I did ok during the live coding, but after a while it was clear he became a bit distracted - he had my full attention, but I knew I didn't have the same in return. After the exercise/interview I sent an email thanking them for their time and asked a followup question. After that I was ghosted completely. No reply to my question, no calls, no followup. I understand if they didn't want to continue the process, but they should really work on their communication skills with all candidates. Gave me a sour taste and made me reconsider the company. If they don't respect me and my time, why should I respect them and theirs? Not a good first impression.

Applied online, heard back after about two weeks for an initial screening. The screening went well, but the following week I was informed they decided not to move forward. Based on the information shared, after the screening, it will move on to a 1-hour coding round, then proceed to a final stage of five 1-hour sessions, JavaScript coding, system design, DSA, code review, and a project deep dive.
