There is a screening interview with the Employment Specialist, followed by an interview by the Geriatric Care Specialist. After you are hired, you must complete 1 week of training, take a 2 step TB test, a drug test, and pass the state certification test. You must also be able to pass a background check for working with the elderly. Training classes are usually offered every other week.
