I applied online. I interviewed at Cotton On (Miranda) in Nov 2025
Interview
Group interview, discussed why we wanted to work there, about cotton ons mission, and the history of it. We then picked an outfit and explained why, then entered out availability
The interview process felt unnecessarily excessive for retail sales associate role, and did not reflect what I would expect the actual work environment to be. The interviewer came across as more authoritative than a professional, which created an uncomfortable experience. As a regional director and panel interviewer, there appeared to be a lack of meaningful engagement and preparednesswith questions, seeming scripted and not focused on relevant areas, such as customer service scenarios or applicable experience. Overall, the interview did not feel aligned with the role conducted in a constructive, professional manner.
Easy process asked a lot of easy questions about retail and previous experience. Easy to get a interview but hard to get a job offer with the company. Have done many interviews but no offers
