I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
There were two interviews, first one was a casual "get to know you type" and the second interview was with the head manager. It was fairly easy and not too long, keep in mind that Costco is very big on customer service so many of the interview questions will have customer service questions.

Question 1
Name a time where you had a stressful customer(s) to deal with and how you handled it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Submitted an application online on a Thursday. Had a contact who worked there who gave them my name and application and received a call a week after to set up an interview in the evening the following Monday. Interview is with two supervisors. One asks questions while the other takes notes, then halfway through they switch. Both interviewers were really laid back and easy-going which made me feel comfortably at-ease and not nervous. First interview actually counts as a first and second interview. I applied for a stocker/merchandising position because it said online that they were hiring them, but after the interview said they weren't hiring stockers, so they said it was between Front-End Assistant or in the Meat Department. I got a call back the next day-Tuesday-to schedule a third interview with the Warehouse manager. After the interview I met with HR for my oral swab drug test. After a background check, scheduled my orientation. If you get called for a third interview, you are pretty much hired.
