I received a phone call after applying in the store about 2 weeks later. I was asked to come in for an interview and accepted. I came in, had about a 30 minute verbal, very basic interview about sales and cashiering. Very normal, pretty easy. I was asked aboutmy ability to sell specific beauty products to specific customers, and how I could do so without an issue.

Over the phone and fairly easy. The hiring manager at the time was nice and made the interview comfortable. She asked me about my work history and why I was currently looking for work.

Very informal, was hired on the spot same day based on my availability, which I know now was a red flag because they were desperately trying to fill the spot of someone who just quit.
