After seeing similar patterns in their other job postings, it seems this is a common part of their pipeline and may be used to collect free ideas from multiple applicants. In my opinion, it’s unprofessional and inappropriate to require this level of uncompensated work during an interview, especially without any follow-up or acknowledgment.
