The process was very unprofessional. The hiring manager reached out to me directly, under the assumption that I had spoken with the recruiter. The interview itself was kind of awkward and I was not asked a whole lot of questions. The hiring manager told me to expect to hear from the director for my next interview and I never heard anything again and eventually got my generic rejection email. I thought it was very unprofessional to tell an applicant they are being passed on to interview with the director and then never hear anything again.
Very straight forward. I met with the hiring manager and the national manager during the second interview. The second virtual interview was just a job offer so it qas pretty much only one interview.

Application
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CooperSurgical (Madrid) in Mar 2023
Interview
First scanning interview was conducted by a Cooper Surgical business partner. Besides the usual questions (motivation, salary expectations, experience) I was asked about my personal situation (married? children?) and my age, questions that are illegal in job interviews in Spain. I was specially shocked because the recruiter was a woman. Besides, this type of questions are, at this time in history, absolute unneccesary. There have been now more than 4 generations of women who excelled at their jobs, with or without a family and regardless of their personal situation. When will this stop?
