First I was called by a recruiter to get to know each other, questions on why I wanted this role, why Coolblue, what I do in my free time.
After that, I got invited to the first interview with recruiter and product owner. I had to make a personality test beforehand. Questions asked were only on my weaknesses and the aspects of the personality test that weren’t a match with the company. Got quite negative vibes after this interview, nevertheless I was invited to the last round.
Last round consisted of 1) one hour for preparing case on prioritizing epics 2) one hour interview in which I could present my results and the case was discussed 3) half an hour with manager of the team.
After last round I got the feedback that I did not have any hands-on experience as a PO, so didn’t get any offer. The most striking aspect of this was that this should have been clear from the start (from my resume and first interview). Therefore it felt like a waste of time that I was invited to the last round, since it took a lot of time and effort (for both me and the people I had the interview with).

Question 1
How do you prioritize your work in your current job?
I had the initial screening and it went really well. Very friendly conversation with about 10 questions about myself, my experience, my knowledge about the position and logistical stuff. It took around 20 mins.
Had an initial screening call with a recruiter. The call was professional and friendly. Questions were based on the job description, and I was asked to give examples that demonstrated some of the required skills.

Question 1
While not asked directly, they seemed interested in whether my answers reflected the company’s values.
I applied online. I interviewed at Coolblue (Utrecht) in Apr 2024
Interview
First/screening interview. Extremely rude recruiter that 1) did not read my resume 2) was not interested in listening when I presented myself 3) interrupted me 15/20 seconds into each response 4) had absolutely no idea about the position and still decided to ask technical questions from a list she was reading from. After I did not give the “correct” answer, she immediately ended the interview.
On top of that, the salary was 20/30% lower than the industry average.
