Recruiter called me for a phone interview and it went well. She was professional and curteous and asked relevant questions to the position. She said they were far along in the process and was honest about that but she liked my profile thus the call. I did end up interviewing with the Hiring Manager who also seemed to like me but also said they were far along in the process and likely sending out the offer the next day (I would have to have gone through various rounds of interviews). I was fine with it as I was looking around so it was still a good chat to get to know the company better.
