I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward, a phone call before an in person interview. The in person interview has some pretty intense questions but the manager seemed like he was really trying to get to know me and make sure I was a good fit. Also consists of some assessments

Interview
3 step, starting with a call, then a cognitive and personality assessment followed by a final interview which is a conversation asking why you think you're a good fit and just a general chat about your past.
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (College Station, TX) in Feb 2023
Interview
I am a current senior in college, and their entry level interview for the Sales Trainee position was very off putting. The two interviewers questioned the credibility of nearly all of my experience. They ended the interview by asking me quick mental math questions and weren’t satisfied until I could answer to 2 or 3 decimal places. I left knowing that I would not work for them under any circumstances. It’s odd because I know multiple peers who had good interviews and felt positive about their chances.

Question 1
The mental math was pointless. Questions like, “What is 7/41?”
