Interview
There is a meet and greet initially where you get to meet the recruiters over some drinks and appetizers (Hors'Oeuvres). The next day you are brought in with other engineers and an HR advisor.
They mainly ask behavioural questions for an internship. Some technical if your prior work terms involve something engineering related. No calculations, but they may give hypothetical scenarios to see how you would react.

I applied through LinkedIn, received a call from HR 2 weeks later to come in for an interview. It was around 45 mins of behavioural based questions/scenarios. HR personal and supervising engineerings were very nice and receptive.

I submitted my resume to ConocoPhillips through a career fair at our university, and received an interview for the company about a week later. The interview took about half an hour, and they asked questions typical of a behavioral interview. My interviewer was very friendly and kind.
