I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Conductor (New York, NY) in Feb 2010
Interview
I ended up coming to Conductor because of the awesome people that I met when I interviewed. They all seemed excited to talk to me and excited to work through the problems that they were presenting me with, even though they interview people all the time. Everyone had the spark of intelligence and passionate about software development.
The in-person interview consisted of some conversations about my experience and an opportunity to demonstrate my coding skills on a white-board and on a computer. I got to meet 4 different members of the team, which I appreciated. The VP of Engineering, especially, was psyched to explain the challenges that Conductor tackles and interested in hearing my ideas.

Question 1
Tell me about something you worked on at your previous employer.
Got call from the recruiter for phone screening. After phone screening got a take-home assignment which was mid-LC level question. After that one technical round. Finally 5 hours of Tech and Behavioural virtual onsite round.
The initial call with the recruiter, the interview with the lead engineer, coding challenge, follow up interview to discuss the coding challenge, 4 hours onsite interview with different engineers only to have nobody responds to an email after that.
Never got a word from them after the onsite interview.
Extremely unprofessional.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Conductor in Oct 2018
Interview
After applying, I was given an online coding test followed by a recruiter phone screen and a video meeting with an engineer to review the coding test. Afterwards, I was invited to a set of in-person interviews with a few engineers and the Director of engineering. Everyone was very friendly and straightforward. As the final interview step, I was invited back to meet with the CTO to answer any questions I had and confirm the specific potential team placement.
