The interview process consisted of a three-person team that asked many questions related to the position and industry. The questions were difficult from the start pinpointed Coned specific questions in their gas operations, it was not your typical interview where you ask what is your leadership style, etc… The questions asked were for employees of Coned or only those that have worked in the gas sector like at rock land county pseg. Frankly, the interview felt targeted and they already had their candidate picked so it wasn’t a fair fight. If you review someone’s resume and see that they have no gas operation experience pertaining to EHS, why interview them then? Mind you, I’m a senior leader at this point so I definitely know how to execute EHS tasks effectively. Dodged a bullet here, wouldn’t recommend with those kinds of tactics that they used. How can you ask someone well what does 29 CFR 1910 subpart M say? Are you supposed to memorize every single code number?
