I applied online. I interviewed at Commvault (Austin, TX) in Dec 2020
Interview
After speaking with the recruiter, the next rounds were with the manager which consisted of basic questions with handling sales scenarios and also seeing what you know about the company.
Rejected twice after being told I was a top candidate. The company appeared to revise the needs/description of the role during the interviewing process. Networking experience is now a huge factor although I wasn't asked a lot of networking questions (maybe two).
Also with the VP of Sales, I was asked if I knew how to open a terminal window, even though my background was in software development, and run the 'ipconfig' command, since the results were different, when we shared screens and he didn't know why, it counted as me not being technical although I followed the basic command

Question 1
How would you handle a customer who wants a demo of a feature that wasn't discussed before hand?
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry that you did not have the candidate experience that we aim for. We have taken your feedback and will continue to tweak our process. If you have anything specifically that you want to discuss further please feel free to reach out to me directly.
