I applied for the Referrals Manager role and had the opportunity to interview with Ms. Dee Jacome, the Director of Referral Management. She began by giving a brief overview of the position and what they were looking for. However, shortly after, she mentioned that the meeting would automatically disconnect after 30 minutes, which immediately created pressure and made the interview feel rushed. It was clear to me that she wasn’t genuinely interested in me as a candidate.
Due to the limited time, I felt I couldn’t fully articulate my answers. Additionally, some of the questions seemed to focus more on learning about my current company’s workflow rather than evaluating my fit for the role, which made the experience feel somewhat disingenuous.
At the end of the interview, she said HR would be reaching out with a response within a week. It’s now been about a month, and I never heard back — I was completely ghosted. Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I’ve had. There was a clear lack of courtesy and follow-up, and it didn’t feel like qualified candidates were given a fair chance to demonstrate their potential.
