I applied online. I interviewed at Commonwealth Academy
Interview
I felt is was good as I got to meet with the head of school and the assistant head. I felt that they asked good questions and were responsive to my questions as well.

Question 1
How do you see yourself working with kids who have learning differences
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Commonwealth Academy (Alexandria, VA) in Aug 2012
Interview
Very easy-going format. If you know your resume like the back of your hand and why you chose to become a teacher and your passion involved with teaching, you will be fine. You have to express that you have patience and flexibility in the workplace. Most of these students have learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD and Asperger's Syndrome. However, some are just looking for a school with a small classroom environment. First, a phone interview is conducted. Then, if you pass that, you are given a second interview in which you head to Alexandria, VA for an in-person interview. USUALLY, this means you more than likely have the job at this point as long as you show up well-dressed and well-mannered and are patient (willing to take a tour, meet with other faculty and fill out some paper work).
