I think the process was broken as I interviewed via phone with someone who thought I had already interviewed with the hiring manager. When the recruiter told me via phone, which was very thoughtful and professional as opposed to an email, she thanked me for spending time with the hiring manager. The company waited a month after my phone interview to advise me I would not move forward in the process. I only received this feedback after I sent a follow up email or two. I was told on the phone by two people someone would get back to me each time within a week to let me know either way and this didn't happen either time. Everyone I spoke with was delightful and I spoke with four people in total TX, IL and at Hickory, NC location. I just would encourage future applicants to follow up and follow up strong to get a status update on the position for which they interviewed. I spent about 2 hours in total on the phone with two separate people and completed a long application and background check form to wait a month to find out I was not moving forward. Accordingly, I rating the interview process at CommScope very low.
