Short Phone interview with the plant HR representative in Winter 2021/2022. Pretty standard for an entry-ish level role, they asked a few questions about my background and education, and then a lot of very specific questions about the role itself and whether I had specific, directly applicable experience working in their industry with their processes, which I hadn't really. The interview seemed to end fairly abruptly when I said I didn't have experience working with the specific ISO certification they used (my job at the time was ISO 9001 certified, but they wanted something else relevant to medical devices). I don't think it was a bad experience, but it seemed like they wanted someone who required very little training to fill a role on a team that (according to the information I had at the time) was losing employees fairly consistently, and I was not that person. I was also probably kind of awkward and used a lot of umms and uhhs as I was not very used to phone interviews at the time.
