I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group in Aug 2015
Interview
I learned of CoStar on LinkedIn. I was impressed with the recruiter who proactively recognized the benefits of my background with CoStar's requirements. She represented the company very well and I found her to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She was prompt with follow-up materials so I could learn more. After several discussions, we agreed that this particular opportunity was not the optimal fit.

Interview
Had a recruiter reach out and we connected to set up a time for a call.
Day of call- they were late.
I have significant experience, which I imagine is why they reached out. In the call, after we go through a few basics (this is not the most charming individual) first question- "Do you have your University degree?" I advise I didn't complete.
Sorry, I'll have to end this call. Company policy we only higher graduates.
What I've learned is that in sales, the only benefit your degree brings is allowing you talk about your "days in Uni". That's it. I've worked with people with multiple degrees that couldn't sell their way out of a wading pool.
But oh well. Good luck. Degrees don't sell your products..
Ask basic qualifications. Stuff like why sales and why costar. Pretty standard stuff. Make sure you have relevant examples of past experiences. First it’s virtual, then sample pitch, then in person behavioral.

Interview
The interview process was smooth and efficient, I enjoyed all the conversations I had from the recruiter to the VP of Sales. They do a great job of helping you prepare and remove a good amount of the pressure you feel interviewing in most cases via personability and straightforward question asking.

Question 1
I was asked to give a 30 second elevator pick as if I was cold calling a prospect.
