      Interview

Quite lengthy when it came to the case study. It took a lot of effort upfront for a slim chance of getting hired. I typically don't even entertain 3-page take home assignments and would not recommend.

      Interview

I had to fill out an assessment and a case study without ever talking to a human being. I felt that the interview process should've included a conversation with a recruiter before sending the case study. I wasn't sure what the process was at all.

      Interview

I regret not reviewing the numerous negative reviews before completing my case study and interview. Unfortunately, my experience echoes many of the reviews posted here, and I was incredibly disappointed. I was given a case study that required me to devise a recruitment strategy and propose solutions to issues in their recruitment process, essentially providing free work. After submission, I advanced to a 45-minute "case review" where I met with an individual who is a "strategy consultant" aiming to create an uncomfortable power dynamic. He tried to poke holes, use my words against me, and provided questions and an experience that did not make any sense. He consistently attempted to trick or stump me, making the interview an unpleasant experience. I often had to ask clarifying questions to understand his long winded rants/questions because I had no idea what he was asking or what he wanted from me. The approach did not allow me to feel psychologically safe, and it didn't showcase how I could perform in the role. With over 7 years of recruiting experience, I felt genuinely angry throughout and after the interview. Not one question highlighted my skills; it seemed more like an attempt to come off as a threat and powerful to get me to stumble. I left the call knowing that even if I moved forward, that man would be the last person I'd want to work with. In this market, they might get away with such tactics, but it saddens me that recruiters are subjected to this experience. It's also shocking to see so many negative reviews without any apparent changes in their operations. If this is the external experience, I can't imagine what is happening internally.
