I interviewed at Clifton College (Bristol, England)
Interview
An interview with the Headmaster, an interview with the pastoral team and an interview with the deputy head(academic). I also had to teach a 1 hour lesson with a sixth form class.
Great in person but slow with feedback which could lead to stress. The process did provide a good overall view of the school with full tour of school and lots of interaction with the senior leadership team.
Interview process was all fine - but the school itself on the induction day gave off major red flags. Lots of staff saying to new staff to take care of themselves, their mental health, leave the college when they can...staff made to work 6 days a week, do boarding house duty until 10pm, SLT all old white men who reminded me a bit of Boris Johnson. SLT member who interviewed me didn't even come over and speak to me on the induction day. High staff turn over it seemed.
