The interview process felt disorganized. The first interview was with the VP, followed by the team. After the first round, they requested a writing sample—something that should be reserved for final candidates. Despite being told I’d hear back within 1-2 weeks, I waited four weeks and had to follow up. Only then did I receive an automated rejection email, making it seem like they would have ghosted me otherwise. While it’s fine if they didn’t choose me, having candidates complete extra work and then going silent is unprofessional.
