Recruiter called me about a role here, but I was in a pretty good place and not particularly interested. A couple of days later, the same recruiter called back to tell me the hiring manager was "bummed out" that I wasn't interested. So I told myself, "OK, maybe this will turn into something". I show up, and we get to talking. Interview was going great, until I asked about work-life balance. Uh oh! The tone of the interview completely changed. I knew at that point, we were done. The recruiter called a few days later to tell me they were "going in a different direction". Cool, whatever. Most bosses wait until you're hired to show their true colors. Whew. Think I dodged a bullet.
