I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Civil Service United Kingdom (Middlesbrough, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
There are various stages to the interview process;
*Civil Service Job Application Forms - you will need to write a maximum of 500 words. Use them all and don't go over as they won't count.
*Situational Judgement Test - you are asked 20 questions and have 40 minutes to answer. The time goes quicker than you think. Look at the role you're applying for and imagine what you would do in that position and answer accordingly. You're given a scenario and various possible statements. You have to rate each statement as Extremely Desirable, Somewhat Desirable, Neither Desirable or Undesirable, Somewhat Undesirable and Extremely Undesirable. There is a timer so you can see how much time you have left so allow 2 mins fro each question. If you finish early you can look back through and make changes if you want.
Very straight forward and easy if you have worked before you can answer the questions easily as its pre recorded.So you can write down notes and ideas that you get from the star method on how to answer your questions

The interview process was a pre-recorded interview that was quite simple, containing 3 questions given in video format. You had 1-2 minutes to think, and then it starts recording for 2-5 minutes to answer the questions
