I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at City Year (Boston, MA) in May 2012
Interview
I sent in an application (resume/cover letter). I was offered an in person interview. After that, I waited and received a rejection email. The process took a long time, but there are many factors that are in play that make it take a long time, whether the result is in your favor or not. The questions in the interview are pretty straightforward. The work culture is strong and the culture of the organization is really strong. It seems like everyone cares about each other, but the staff hiring process is a bit more removed from the same culture that exists when people enter as a corps member. It is like any other job process.
