      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Citco (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2017

      Interview

I applied directly through their website. Next day received call from their HR. Phone screen questions they asked were easy and none of them were technical .They just want to find out if you are a good fit for the company. Still waiting for their call if they will choose me for a second round of interview ,which would be with their hiring managers.

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Citco in Jan 2017

      Interview

HR for Toronto office was very horrible and unprofessional! Hiring process is so slow when in fact the hiring manager had specified that they need people ASAP. I was schedule for a follow up interview and kept receiving email cancellations without any explaination, just a "CALENDAR" schedule. Which i find very unprofessional. Email interview invite was drafted incorrectly by the time and date (most important). I hate the fact that when I asked for a decision timeline, the HR girl said, "we'll get back to you end of week next week" but havent received any emails or calls 2 weeks later. Its just so much better when companies inform you they've proceeded with other candidates then you can carry on with your job hunt. Something I didnt find with CITCO, which makes me more happy I didnt end up with this company.

Dear Candidate - Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had a poor candidate experience, which is not typical for us. I've checked with our Talent Acquisition team in Toronto get some feedback. In the case of this search, it did take longer than usual to get back to candidates. There were several candidates who interviewed over an extended period of time, all of which were a potential fit. A decision was taken to complete all interviews before providing feedback. It is our goal to ensure each candidate has a positive experience and we will use your feedback to improve how we communicate with candidates in similar situations in the future.
