I applied online. I interviewed at Citadel Securities (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview
Got contacted by recruiter after resume drop.
Scheduled an interview with one of the teams in New York.
Phone Interview.
Final Round (Super Day)
Offer??
------------------
Interview consisted mainly stats questions. Friend also told me there might be coding questions if you are applying to semi-systematic/systematic trader roles. So you have to be prepared for all kinds of questions. Tbh this is kinda crazy since they expect you to be good with the market, very familiar with stats, and know how to code. I don't understand why the bar is so high since I think some people's daily job is not that challenging and use none of the skills tested in the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Phone Interview - asked about a market sizing question and confidence level and a question about comparing two companies (stocks) and which one I would choose and my reasoning. Interviewer was pretty disrespectful and hard to communicate with. Tbh a very bad experience.
