I applied online. I interviewed at Cintas (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
First round interview was a scripted questionnaire from the HR person/Senior Recruiter. The conversation was very transactional and the recruiter lacked any excitement for the company. At the end of the call she shared that the role I applied to was now closed and she asked if I would consider a role that was even less compensation than what I applied to. And worse, it required the recruiter to make 15 phone screens per day in office/on site 5 days a week (call center vibes!). Knowing my salary expectations were not in alignment, I welcomed the interview practice. The second round was with the Recruiting Manager, this was a more helpful conversation where I was able to better understand the metrics on the position, nature of the team and challenges of the role. It was not a fit. This seems like it could be a place for someone to get a start at recruiting and would need a manager to oversee their day to day.

Interview
Phone screen with recruiter, a week later there’s a virtual interview with a recruiting manager. The screening was dry and the recruiter for the phone screen has no personality and was dull.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas in May 2025
Interview
Phone call scheduled view through an automated process. First interview scheduled, I never received a call. I followed up via email, but did not have the Recruiters direct contact. I did not receive a follow-up email for a week. At which I received a direct email from the recruiter letting me know the call did not go through...the week prior! Asked if I was interested to reschedule, I said yes. That call went took place. The recruiter rushed through the entire process. Did not provide any insight to what the role consisted of. I asked at the end of the discussion how she felt I was a fit for the role. She said I was a strong candidate for many reasons and outlined those reasons. Mentioned my information would be passed along to the hiring team, Recruitment Strategy Mgr with her recommendation. I received a rejection automated email that Saturday. Extremely disappointed. After the lack of follow-up from e original interview never taking place, waiting a week to hear from anyone, then having been told I was a strong candidate and how my experience is what they are looking for, to receiving a computer rejected email on a weekend day. In the end, I guess I dodged a bullet as they say.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cintas (Arizona City, AZ) in Mar 2024
Interview
I completed the initial screening call with the recruiter and was told to expect an invitation to move on in the interview process. I never heard and even tried reaching out directly to the recruiter several times. Eventually I received a rejection email. Honestly, ghosting is so unprofessional. I feel as though I likely dodged a bullet.
