Pretty simple, they asked the generic interview questions and also things like what’s your favorite movie, where do you see yourself in 5 years, and also what skills would you bring to the cinemark family.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cinemark in May 2014
Interview
Very quick and easy, the process took under a day - walked in to turn in my application and the hiring manager happened to be there. He offered me an on spot interview, which only took a few minutes where after asking a few questions he offered me a position. Most of the interview honestly consisted of filling out paperwork.
Interview process is different for every theater; hiring managers must follow some standard interview procedures but expect certain theaters to be more intensive than others in terms of the interview process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cinemark (Huntington Beach, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Sat on a chair in the lobby to be interviewed by a manager. It was during business hours with customers passing by and other workers. There were others waiting on chairs to be interviewed
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cinemark (Kenosha, WI) in Oct 2015
Interview
Interviewed by two guys who asked pretty basic questions. I don't really know what else to say other than it was average and they were understanding of my nervousness. I was nervous as it was only my third interview and there were two older men interviewing me.
